Toyota Chaser - a midsize sedan, which was manufactured by Toyota solely for the Japanese market, this machine was never officially exported outside Japan. Chaser is known worldwide as one of "triads" Toyota, since it has the same platform with sedans as the Toyota Mark 2 Toyota Cresta. The machine is considered to be lower class than the Crown, and is perceived more as a sports sedan because of its aggressive looks and the engine (some are fitted with the 1JZ-GTE). Chaser and the name translated to English means "pursuer."
