Reasons for detonation engine

Knock that occurs when accelerating the car, many classified as "tapping his fingers," that is not true - is the result of detonation. One reason for the detonation may be too early ignition. In this case, the fuel mixture is ignited prematurely, and spent energy is released only to increase the friction force in the crank mechanism and can cause damage to the friction pair (for example, scoring in the crankshaft and inserts). Another cause of detonation is the use of low-octane fuel than is provided in the specifications of the manufacturer specific engine (for example, the use of gasoline A-76 instead of A-95). In fact, low-octane gasoline - intended for use in engines, the compression ratio which is lower than in those engines that are designed for the use of more high-octane gasoline. Therefore, the fuel mixture is prepared from low-octane gasoline (when used in engines with higher compression ratio) - detonate (burns at a rate of explosion), and than a large amount of thermal energy, which, in turn, with a long life of the engine causes it to serious damage. Signs of detonation engine is the black smoke from the tailpipe and fall of engine power due to violations of the combustion fuel mixture. The complete absence of detonation - too bad, and may signal either the ignition is too late, or the use of more high-octane gasoline.
